Eleos Simulation is an Atlanta-based “Simulated Participant (SP)” agency. We refer professional role-play actors to healthcare institutions, law enforcement agencies, and continuing-education clients across the nation. We have provided thousands of learners in various industries with the opportunity to experience safe, immersive, human-focused encounters.
WHAT IS A SIMULATION PARTICIPANT (SP)?
Eleos’ SPs are trained to portray an assigned character in a realistic and repeatable way. Depending on the educational objectives of a given simulation, SPs may play:
-Sick patients at a hospital (for nursing learners)
-Addicts in need of recovery resources (for social work students)
-Victims of a crime (for police trainings)
SPs serve as a dynamic tool for professors, trainers, and educators to assess their students in a controlled, low-risk environment.
WHO ARE ELEOS SPs?
Eleos is comprised of SPs of all age-ranges, gender identities, body types, and ethnicities. We frequently support simulations which require Spanish speakers, LGBTQIA+ folks, pregnant people, and other highly-specific SP demographics!
In addition to accurately and comprehensively embodying a character, Eleos’ SPs are also experienced communication coaches. After a simulation is complete, they are equipped to provide clear, supportive feedback regarding the interpersonal skills of the learners with whom they worked. SP feedback is focused on verbiage, body language, and rapport-building strategies, based on the details of the individual simulation.
THE VALUE OF SIMULATION
Simulation is widely-recognized as the most accurate predictor of real-world performance. Human simulation increases learner confidence, and reduces organizational liability by exposing learner deficiencies in a low-stakes setting.
Our human role-play services are rooted in statistically-supported pedagogy….a pedagogy embraced by the many prestigious medical, police, and corporate clients we serve.
“Eleos” is the Greek goddess of mercy and compassion. Learning is a vulnerable process! Simulation is often the last rehearsal before “real life” demands proficiency. Eleos Simulation’s mission is to offer a sacred, safe space for growth. We hold our learners in high regard.

Dr. Ian Porter
Dr. Ian Porter recruited, trained, and supervised hundreds of Simulated Participants in his 19 year commitment to the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. As an SP educator, he worked hand-in-hand with physicians to implement dozens of patient simulations for Doctoral Candidates. His extensive background in healthcare education has translated seamlessly to his work with Eleos Simulation; he now serves as an SP liaison, consultant, and medical moulage artist to the company’s clients. He is also a licensed chiropractor who finds immense satisfaction in rehabilitating patients who have experienced trauma.

Chelsea Dinegan Davis
Chelsea Dinegan Davis (she/her) is the proud owner of Eleos Simulation. She has found fulfillment in the world of simulation for the last decade.
Until its suspension in 2020, she was employed by the USMLE’s Step 2 CS Exam, where she assessed the patient-centered skills of medical graduates. She was also employed by the American Board of Anesthesiology’s testing center. She has been part of numerous simulation teams, including those at Duke University, Emory University, Morehouse School Of Medicine, and Campbell University.
Chelsea served as the Forensic Program Coordinator of Clinical Skills USA for 5 years, coordinating countless SANE/SAFE trainings and instructing thousands of medical, nursing, and PA students in the conduction of trauma-informed gynecological examinations.

Malorie Felt
Malorie Felt is a working actor and educator who joined the Eleos Simulation team in 2024. She has worked in various medical offices as an abstractionist, and now provides administrative support to the company’s numerous healthcare clients. Malorie holds both performance and teaching degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. She is impassioned by the opportunity to help teach learners develop their capacities for empathy and self-reflection.
